The book contains 21 cleaning tips and 22 organizational tips.Many of the cleaning tips are using baking soda and vinegar. Many of tips are well known but a few were useful and unique that I have not read before.
Most of the organizational tips are pretty basic but a couple were useful. The one I liked most is the suggestion to cut out index pages out of magazines into a separate folder so when you need to find a magazine you can go through this folder not all the magazines. I have a lot craft magazines that I am constantly searching through and this tip is going to save me quite a bit of time.

This book is good for those that don't have organizational skills, pictures on how to do these things might be helpful. Author could add diy/hacks that won't be readily available online to make this book more interesting.
I love books like this one that help me keep my house in order without spending a lot of money on gadgets or harsh chemicals. This guide describes smart ways to clean just about anything using products you probably already have on hand. I really enjoyed the quick and easy way of cleaning my blinds using water, vinegar and two old socks. I recommend this book to everyone.
I'll add one for you, an old chest of drawers can be painted or refinished and makes a great storage place in the kitchen. Put tiles across the top and keep the microwave and toaster on it. The drawers can be filled with pots, pans, bowls, cup towels, paper plates, small appliances, canned or dry goods, whatever your storage needs are and it doesn't take up much floor space.
A good book. There is something to be learned here. If you're looking for a quicker, or easier way to do things, get the book. I have several of this type, so run into some repetition, yet still find new things in all of them. Of course I never rate each 'hack', except for myself, and I rate them by how useful it is to me personally, so should you., because we all live different lives, it keeps us interesting. Get the book and choose you hacks. As many, or as few as you want in your life, then enjoy yourself.
Great little book ,used the tip for cleaning Microfibre fabric on my 15 yr sofa. and the results , Amazing......... just a spray bottle your rubbing alcohol and plenty of clean white cloths ....... My sofa fabric is chenille. .it already worked on my microfibre chairs so I thought give it a try on the sofa .Truly it worked like magic. Will certainly try other hints.
Cleaning is not fun. Spending hours cleaning is even less fun. I wanted some ways to cut down on the time it took to clean as well as not having to spend so much money on cleaning supplies. This easy to ready book on DIY Household Hacks was exactly what I needed. I never thought to use a sock to clean blinds before. Great tips in this book.
I love finding a nice hack to help lessen the time it takes do stuff around the house or office. However, where I typically get them – the Internet - they are usually hidden among a wall of clickbait and other confusing links and ads.
So, when I stumbled upon the hacks I was looking for collected in a single volume, I jumped at the chance to buy and download it.
Needless to say, I have not been disappointed.
Written in a light, yet informative, way, this book is sure to fill your head with great ideas. Along with a stellar collection of cleaning hacks (21 in all) and 22 organization hacks, you will be saving time as soon as you fire up your or desktop.
Even better, I was impressed to find even more hacks, contained in a bonus book– Decluttering Made Easy – located at the back of Household Hacks.
