Rolando Toyos, MD is the President of the Sports Ophthalmology Society of America. He has been the Team Ophthalmologist and consultant for several professional teams in the NBA, NFL, MLB, and Boxing, to name a few. He has been called the go to surgeon for professional athletes by ESPN. Dr. Toyos is also the owner of 6 clinics with his wife and partner Dr. Melissa Toyos. The clinic specializes in surgical eye care and facial cosmetic surgery. Their motto is See Better, Look Better.

I have not yet read this book - but I am planning to get it. However - from reading the excerpts, it is clear that this book is very well written. I have had the pleasure of listening to Dr. Toyos lecture and speak, and he is an excellent ophthalmologist and his opinions are valued by his peers. He has always had a strong focus in Sports Ophthalmology, so I am excited that he has shared his experiences.
Very entertaining. Could not put it down, enjoyed it very much. Easy to read and personal stories were very good.
